Introducing Claudine Karangwa Ingabire: #PoetMeUp Guest Host for September 2022
Hello, and welcome to The Swala Tribe Newsletter, a weekly source of information and updates regarding The Swala Tribe Magazine, and the #PoetMeUp Podcast. We’re thrilled to announce Karangwa Ingabire Claudine as the host of #PoetMeUp for the month of September.
Karangwa was born in 1995 in the Southern province of Rwanda, Nyanza district. She received a bachelor’s degree in Development Economics at the University of Rwanda. She’s a writer/poet and now works in Public Relations and Communications. Her writings cross different genres and styles; she writes essays, poetry, short stories and motivational prose. Her essays focus on gender equality, women empowerment, and the healing journey of a nation torn with dark history through the lens of unity, reconciliation, and the fight against transgenerational trauma.
Her poetry reflects the personal dedication to being better, the impermanence yet seamlessness of time and life, and the little beauty that we find scattered all around us. Check out her blog to read more of her writings. You can also get in touch with her on Twitter and Instagram.
